Chris Perfetti & Joy Sunday Board HBO Limited Series ‘DTF St. Louis’

Chris Perfetti (Abbott ElementaryTwinless) and Joy Sunday (Wednesday) have joined HBO‘s seven-episode limited series DTF St. Louis from writer, director, showrunner and executive producer Steve Conrad.

They join the previously announced cast that includes Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini and Richard Jenkins.

DTF St. Louis, currently in production, is about a love triangle among adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead.

Perfetti will portray “Tiger Tiger” and Sunday will play “Jodie.”

DTF St. Louis is executive produced by Conrad; David Harbour; Jason Bateman; Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch for Escape Artists; Molly Allen; Bruce Terris; Michael Costigan for Bateman’s Aggregate Films; Jennifer Scher for Elephant Pictures; Kristina Wenson for Bravo Axolotl; and MGM Television.

Perfetti stars as a series regular on ABC’s Abbott Elementary, currently in its fourth season and recently renewed for a fifth. In the hit comedy, he plays teacher Jacob Hill, for which he has received a Critics Choice Award for Breakthrough Performance – Television and an ensemble SAG Award alongside the cast. His TV credits also include The Night Of, In the DarkCrossbonesLooking and What We Do in the Shadows.

On screen, he next co-stars in the Dylan O’Brien-led Sundance breakout Twinless, which competed in this year’s U.S. Dramatic Competition and won the festival’s Audience Award. Perfetti is repped by Paradigm and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.

Sunday broke out on the hit Netflix series Wednesday, starring alongside Jenna Ortega, Christina Ricci, Gwendoline Christie, Catherine Zeta Jone and Luis Guzman. The series will return for a second season this year. Sunday is repped by Gersh, Asteria Artists and Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein.
